A Morning Prep Routine Before the Bangkok Open

A Morning Prep Routine Before the Bangkok Open

The traders who get the most from our sessions arrive with charts already marked. Their routine is repeatable, not reactive.

First ten minutes: scan the watchlist for names that closed inside a range yesterday while the sector index made a higher high. Those mismatches often become next-week continuation candidates.

Next ten minutes: draw range boxes only — no trend lines yet. Note range age in sessions and whether overnight futures moved in the trend direction.

Final ten minutes: rank three names by range quality. Quality here means clear boundaries, declining volume, and closes clustered on the trend side. Bring that ranked list to the study circle; the group discussion starts from your marks, not from ours.

This routine fits on a single notebook page. We provide the template in the workshop workbook, but any ruled page with three columns — scan, mark, rank — works.
